Consentimiento Informado
Qué esperar antes, durante y después de tu procedimiento.
What this is
This is a template informed consent for surgical and dental procedures abroad. Your treating surgeon at the clinic will walk you through a procedure-specific version (in your language) and obtain your signature before any procedure. This page is informational only — it does NOT replace the consent process at the clinic.
What you should know
1. All surgical and invasive dental procedures carry risk (bleeding, infection, anesthesia complications, unsatisfactory result, need for revision). 2. Outcomes vary by patient. Before/after photos on our site reflect specific individuals and may not represent typical results. 3. You have the right to refuse any procedure, change your mind at any time before surgery, and ask any question in your language. 4. You will sign consent in your language, in person, at the clinic — after meeting your surgeon and after all your questions are answered.
What to bring to the consent meeting
Your medical history (conditions, allergies, current medications), the name and contact of your primary care physician, any prior surgical records relevant to your procedure, and a written list of questions. Bring a trusted companion if possible.
If you change your mind
You may withdraw consent at any time before the procedure begins. If you've paid, you receive a full refund minus any non-recoverable deposits already committed (clinic booking, recovery house reservation). You will not be charged a "cancellation fee" beyond actual costs incurred.
DRAFT — needs legal review. Esta es una plantilla informativa. El consentimiento real se firma en la clínica, en tu idioma, con tu cirujano.
